Responsibilities:
-Actively participate in product design and assist in the related process -Work with other designers, researchers and engineers as a product development team to create actionable deliverables
-Understand and appreciate the current marketplace design trends
-Explore and understand the effect of emotions, cultures, and beliefs on peoples’ needs and preferences -Collect and analyze information to drive new opportunities for products, services, and experiences -Understand and expand the role of design in a creative, iterative process
-Understand and demonstrate implementation of design language
-Conduct sufficient communication with clients and users for precise design positioning
-Cooperate with users and researchers to evaluate concepts and existing products
-Complete design projects together with design team in US
职位职责：

Requirements:
-Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities in both English and Mandarin -Professional experience in product design and related fields
-Practical design abilities and rich design experience for at least 2 full years
-Aesthetic sensitivity including form, color, material, and finish
-Working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing processes
-Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
-Passionately motivated with a high level of responsibility and professionalism
-Good conceptual/sketching skills
-Strong 2D visualization skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)
-Ability to create 3D databases (Rhino, Alias, SolidWorks)
-Ability to fabricate preliminary mockups or volume studies in various media

A bachelor's degree in industrial design is required. Experience living, studying, and/or working abroad (particularly in North America) is strongly desired. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to Shanghai.
