Microsoft Asia Center for Hardware 招聘 Industrial Design Project Manager

Company Introduction:

Established in 2004, Microsoft Asia Center for Hardware (MACH) is an extension of Microsoft US hardware team in Redmond. It consists of three main teams: PCHW, Xbox and manufacturing & procurement, responsible for PC hardware, Xbox accessories and Xbox consoles. At present, MACH has more than 100 team members working in Shen Zhen to develop hardware products including mice, keyboards, Webcams, Xbox controllers, gaming text input devices, and other PC and Xbox accessories for world markets.

Role:
•  Industrial design project manager
•  Microsoft title: User Experience Designer
•  V-employee

Responsibilities:

•  Help to manage the industrial design implementation process
•  Work as an ID ambassador in Microsoft’s Asia Hardware Center
•  Work with the ID teams, engineering and manufacturing to ensure a smooth integration of the industrial design into mass manufacturing
•  Work with the US ID team and our existing partners to refine the industrial design implementation process
•  Build ID PM as a core competency in Microsoft’s Asia Hardware Center MACH
•  Develop competency around materials and processes to be able to implement new materials and finishes

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor or higher Degree in Industrial Design.
•  6+ years of professional experience in PM or ID.
•  Strong passion for project management.
•  Management skills. Has managed projects before.
•  Excellent communication skills: Fluent English, Fluent Mandarin is a plus.
•  Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as Microsoft Office products. CAD is a plus.
•  Natural collaborator. Must work natively in complex team environments.
